James Young
President
James is a Political Science major from Tyler, Texas. He is a member of Squadron 11 in the Corps of Cadets and a contracted Air Force cadet in Detachment 805. James hopes to attend law school in the fall of 2026 and later serve as a JAG officer in the Air Force. He credits the TAMU Pre-Law Society with providing essential knowledge about law school admissions, the LSAT, and the legal profession.


Grayson Lueck
Vice President
Grayson is a Political Science (BS) major from Oshkosh, WI. He is going to graduate in December of 2026 and plans to attend law school after with hopes of working in oil/energy law or M&A. He believes that Pre-Law Society does a great job teaching members valuable information about the process of applying to law school and about careers postgrad. He prides the availability of discounts on LSAT preparation for members.

Will Mabe
Treasurer
Will is a junior History major pursuing the Legal History Certificate as well as a minor in Philosophy. He intends to attend law school in the fall of 2027 with hopes of a career in corporate law, ideally in commercial litigation. Outside of the Texas A&M Pre-Law Society, Will serves as the President of the Texas A&M Historical Society and the Fundraising Chair of the Texas A&M Moot Court team. Will believes that the Pre-Law Society does a fantastic job of providing aspiring law students with connections, opportunities, and vital information that can benefit them greatly.

Sarah McCarty
Director of Public Relations
Sarah is a current junior from Houston, TX. She is pursuing a degree in political science with a minor in business on the pre-law track. She plans to attend law school in the fall of 2027, and hopes to pursue a career in corporate law.

Ankit Khatri
Director of Administration
Ankit is a senior Computer Science major with a minor in Philosophy from Plano, Texas. He plans to attend law school in Fall 2026, with aspirations to work in either Tech M&A or Real Estate and Trust law. He's excited to help create a more connected community while supporting others on their pre-law journey.

Thomas Snyder
Director of Recruitment
Thomas Snyder is a Communication major with a Business minor, graduating in December of 2025. With a strong passion for law and advocacy, Thomas enjoys how the Pre-Law Society provides valuable insights into the legal field and opportunities to connect with like-minded peers. He appreciates the organization’s resources for LSAT preparation, law school guidance, and networking with legal professionals. As an officer, Thomas is excited to help fellow students navigate their pre-law journey and make the most of their experience in the society.

Taylor DeNeve
Director of Social & Service
Taylor is a junior Society, Ethics, & Law major pursuing a double minor in philosophy and environmental geosciences. She intends to enroll in law school after graduation in May 2027 to hopefully go into the toxic tort or renewable energy legal sector. Outside of the Texas A&M Pre-Law Society, Taylor is a member of the Texas A&M Polo Club and will be serving as their Secretary next semester. Taylor’s favorite aspect about the Pre-Law Society is the sense of community and encouragement to pursue your legal desires, even if they aren’t the typical fields.

Alesky Cavazos
Director of Development
Aleksy Cavazos is a Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering senior with a Business and Philosophy minor at Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Aleksy plans to attend law school in 2026 to pursue a career in patent law. He appreciates the TAMU Pre-Law Society for connecting him with like-minded peers and providing insight into the path to law school and a legal career.
